20JulLooking for Penpals

Two new pages have been added to the goodies section. Scribbles and vectors. There’s a few more vector illustrations in there than I showed you including Ellie the dinosaur and Sam the evil kitty.

I don’t know but I really love adobe illustrator. I can’t draw for shit anymore so I’m quite pleased to be able to create cute stuff online. It gives me a little of my confidence back.

As for the smilies, they’re still in progress but I have decided to leave the 9×9 smilie sets as they are so those should be returning to their proper place within the next few days. The 11×11 smilies are still going to be revamped though. It’s a must because my original ones.. are less than pleasing to me and I want to give you guys nothing but my best work. Once the 11×11’s are done I’ll be starting on 14×14 and then special smilie packs.

So anyway, that’s enough graphic talk. Let’s move on to the life, or more pointedly - my life. My oldest brother has decided to move in with us.. and he has and it’s a total nightmare!

He keeps stealing my cigarettes, demanding that I do stuff for him online ruining my cloths and him and Chris (my other brother) do not get along so it’s constantly tense and they’re arguing back and forth and my nerves are just shot, period.

It really feels like when I first got sick. I can’t eat or drink anything with getting massivly sick. I’m nervous all the time and I’ve pretty much withdrawn myself from family interactions.

I know that my explaination is a crappy one and might not seem like such a huge ordeal but I can’t type out the entire story or tell you guys everything that’s been going on. It would take days. The entry would span a few hundred pages and no one would read it anyway.

On the plus side Chris’s phsycho girlfriend is now in jail, I’m out of the hole and currently waiting on the arrival on some more super cute stationary. I got lucky and found this deluxe pack of wanroom stationary. It has 4 seperate designs with matching envelopes.. now you know I couldn’t resist that! hehe

I’m still looking for penpals too so if you want to be one just let me know. I love writing people and I give random gifts too. All I ask is that you be 18 years of age or older. If you’re younger that’s fine too but I need parental approval as I don’t wish to get into any trouble just for writing letters

19JulArt Experimentation…

I don’t really have anything to blog about sooo I’m going to take this post and use it as a showcase of sorts to show you guys a little bit of what I’ve been up to.

For the most part is just experimentation type stuff. I taught myself how to make those little scribbles you see everywhere. I couldn’t find a photoshop tutorial for scribbling so I made up my own way to do it. The results are:

Then I finally decided I wanted to give adobe illustrator a go. So I installed it this morning and so far I’ve created two ‘Masterpeices’. The first one is a small design or ‘character’ that I’ve been drawing on paper and letters for quite some time now. I have no idea how I came up with it, it could be something I saw on tv or a website but I honestly have no clue. The second was just me playing around. The teddy bear was originally supposed to be a dead hampster but *sniffs* I just don’t have that kind of skill.

And last but not least would be the domokun wordpress header I created for Miriam who took advantage of the $2.00 webservice sale. The original picture was a stuffed animal domokun fussing at a real tv that I found through google. I wanted a cartoon so after a few experimentations I finally got the tv and domokun looking slightly cartoonish. At which point I fixed the background colors, added some extra lighting but then something was missing soo I opened a smaller blank canvas, drew a domokun style face and morphed it onto the tv screen. Now we have a cartoonized domokun yelling at the tv who in turn is yelling back at domokun. “Rawr!” hehe

Custom webicon pack: includes all of my 9×9 website icons including new ones that you can’t get yet

Button pack: includes 4 88×31 buttons and 2 120×60 buttons

Banner pack: 6 468×60 banners

Forum signature: 2 300×100 forum signatures. Including the psd file

forum headers: 1 forum header design in the size of your choice

Avatar pack: 6 custom avatars in the size of your choice

Websets: buttons for your site (ex. home, about me, guestbook.. all the ones you need)

Script installation: installation of any script you choose. If i can’t do it you get your money back so don’t worry

Proof reading: this is where I dig into every page of your site to check for spelling/grammar mistakes, broken links and images or other random issues.

Website Organization: just what it says. I go through your files and make everything nice and pretty

Miscellaneous: don’t see what you need? Contact me and we’ll work something out if it’s doable.

Note: smilies, web icons, websets, buttons and banners will be created to match your website or whoever’s website you’re buying for.

08JulIn a Hole

I signed up for a trial offer a few days back. It was for some teeth whitening stuff. I only got it because I thought my brother would like it. So anyway, the trial cost 4.95, which I promptly paid.

Now for some reason this company decided it would be okay to take another $85.90 out of my bank account.

In short, I have no more money and once this month of internet service is up you won’t see me again until christmas.

Jobs are nice, I’d have one but no one wants to hire me around here so there’s no way I can pull myself out of this hole.

On another note I’m willing to make stuff for people for $2. That includes smilies, web icons, buttons, banners, forum headers, hell I’ll even proof read your entire website or organize it.
