I’ve been staring at this editor for more than 4 hours now. Trying to think of something to blog about. I have a lot that I could discuss if only my mind could wrap around and focus on it.
I could write about Mis who submitted a blog topic (view goodies section) but I’m so sleepy and zoned out from my pain medication that I wouldn’t do her any justice.
In short I’m too tired and disoriented to blog about anything of importance or to blog about anything for any given amount of time for that matter. I’m aware I’m contradicting myself with that statement as I’m obviously blogging about something but you know what I mean. Or at least you should, if you don’t I’m afraid you’re shit out of luck because I’m incapable of explaining myself right now.
If only you could feel what I was feeling right now.. if only.
I finally found a script that works. I don’t like it as much as the other one but none of the other ones, including a REALLY kick ass script would work. There’s a new special and a new requirement for those who pay with greenzap but it’s still cheap as can be so go ahead and get yourself some advertising.
Also, I added paypal as an option for payment which will soon be followed by e-gold and moneybookers whenever I can be arsed to do it. Right now I need to take a breather and concentrate on Caffeinated for a little while. It looks like I missed a ton in the two weeks I was gone. I did manage to add a new button, which you can see up above, lots of new avatars and some new shop items. They can’t be too mad at me lol.. at least I hope not.
Normally I would sit here and keep talking through the text but I haven’t been to bed yet and I’m quite tired. I’ve been awake since 11am yesterday. I think it’s high time I put my ass in the bed and pulled the covers up over my head to get some rest. Then again.. even though I’m exhausted sleep is never a sure thing with me *shrugs* Beggars can’t be choosers I guess.
Oh, before I forget, I added two weeks worth of advertising to those who had purchased some before my absence. I don’t know how long the script was down for so I just went ahead and gave you guys a full two weeks. Don’t you love me? No?.. well, yeah nevermind, I expected that answer 
So yeah back to the bedtime thing, that’s my plan and I’m stickin to it. I’ll return comments sometime tonight or tomorrow. Just depends on when my small brain can get enough oxygen to read and put forth an effort to shell out some input :wink:
I took a nap earlier, yeah that’s right, a nap. Not that I slept good, I kept waking up every five minutes because Twitters insisted on throwing her castle (small cardboard animal house) around her cage in an attempt to conquer the ‘world’. Her world that is.
I swear I wanted to take that house and rip it in half. Her kritter kabob is no better. Who’s idea was it to attach a bell on the end of those things? Whoever did it obviously doesn’t have an attitudial pet rat. I’m convinced of that.
It wouldn’t be so bad but she LOVES the sound of that bell. She could care less about chewing on the treats attached to it.. noooo she wants to smack it so the bell tinkles, then smack it again.. and again.. and again.. and yeah, I think you get the point. So if you have a pet rat, or chinchilla, and purchase a kritter kabob, detatch the bell. Otherwise you’ll need a set of ear-plugs to keep your sanity. Assuming you have sanity, which I obviously don’t.
And was today attitude day or what? I swear everyone was being crabby. Except for me, which made me the prime target of attack by these grouchy neanderthols. I was minding my own business washing the dishes I had used when I ate the evil chilli, when mom ‘breezed’ in and starting ranting about how her children are so disrepectful and no one helps her around the house. Um hello *waves the soapy dish in the air* can you not see that I’m helping you?
I blame Shaun for that. The incident we had here yesterday has put her completely on edge. When one kid messes up, it’s all hell for the rest of us.. mainly me but I’ll be nice and give her the benefit of the doubt. So you want to hear the story? Great, because I’m telling it anyway. Who knew you could turn an 88×31 button into a pie? I sure didn’t. I was fiddling around in MS Paint seeing what kind of odd buttons I could come up with for the new forum I’m working on and I came up with this. It started out looking like a sail boat but when I sat back and looked at it I thought ‘hey, I bet if I cut those overlaps off here and drew a line here it would look like a pie…’ So I tried it and low and behold the new pixelized pie button for the Caffeinated MB!
I know I know, I already have a forum, so why create another one right? Well phpBB2 just isn’t working for me. I find that phpbb2 is better suited for buisness type sites. Yes there is a shop hack and it is installed onto my current forum but I just don’t like it the way it is. It doesn’t suit me. Soo, I found the last stable release of Invision Power Board. Installed it and have been working on it ever since. There’s a LOT more topics on the new forum because of it’s sub-forum capabilities and the themes aren’t hard to create at all. As soon as I finish recoloring the tables and editing a few more icons it’s ready to go. It features a cute bunny mermaid from Dudu. I think it’s very cute and hopefully the new forum will snag a lot of new members. The imaturity issues at my current forum are really bugging me lately so everything will be fixed and kicked into shape with this new one. I’d give you a link and let you view but it doesn’t have it’s face all the way on quite yet :wink:
Anywho, I was going to do another ‘Friday’s Feast’ last night but I was just too tired. I went to sleep at 2am. Sadly I still haven’t slept yet. I keep thinking I smell something burning. The smell isn’t anything burning but a skunk that sprayed outside. Can’t tell my mind the difference though. I get to the point where I’m almost alseep then my eyes snap back open and I jump up and run to the electricle outlet only to find my mind was fooled again. My lil fuzzy friends aren’t helping either. I have two chinchillas chasing each other through the tunnels fussing as hard as they can fuss, a mouse jumping against the lid of it’s cage and a rat slamming a cat ball around it’s cage. Go figure eh? It’s like they know when I’m tired and act up just to piss me off. The lil bastids.. I love em though so I can’t complain.
Oh speaking of house issues… My oldest brother, Shaun came over yesterday to pick up my neice. It was fairly nice out yesterday so he decided to wash his car. Now unknown to me and him the pipe that connects the waterhose to the house busted about three weeks back. So he turns the hose on scrubbing away at his car and it’s really loud. I just sort of sit there looking at it thinking it’s odd but not saying anything. So, he goes home, mom is gone and I’m all alone. 5pm rolls around and the sun starts dropping from the sky. I go around the house everyday at this time to close the blinds and flick on the lamps and porch light. So I’m making my rounds and everything is fine… until I go to shut the blinds on the left side of the house and ‘SPLASH!’ I step into a giant puddle of icy water about two inches deep. SOAKING the bottom of my pants. Man I was so pissed off. I had just changed into my nice comphy pjs and was all ready to relax and stuff. :stress:
It seems to me that sleep and relaxation aren’t meant to be part of my daily life. I go a month or two with normal sleep then my insomnia kicks in or something completely random like last night happens and screws me up. And relaxation.. I have one word for that HA! Then again that could be considered two words IF you count the exclaimation point but we’ll say that it’s one for now.
And now I’m back to my steaming coffee and table coloring expidition. Man, I REALLY know how to have a good time don’t I? :biggrin:
