You can’t see it by looking at the dates on the front page, but Comotized has been updated quite a few times recently.

Most of the updates were small edits such as code edits and spell checking but some are a tad bit more obvious with content moving from the linkware pages to the freebies pages.

Website icons are now direct downloadable again. It appears people have no idea what emailing is *cough*lazyasses*cough*.

A set of wordpress themes and color swatches have mysteriously landed on page 2 of said freebies section and vector illustrations have been squished and tidied up so you don’t have to scroll forever and a day to view them all. Just load the page & click, sooo much easier and they still save the same way so don’t worry about the squishy thumbnail appearance.

I’ve also started working on my quilting bee quilt so I can rejoin the bee but it appears the I’m myquilt admin retarded. The design is done but I have a ways to go before I can officially rejoin… Click the tiny bee in the footer to view the new design, it’s total bee*ownage baby!

I think those are all the updates that are ’seeable’ but I piddle around so much I can’t be 100% sure. I can tell you that there are a few new illustrations to view and use such as happy cigarettes, hobo spiders, female monkeys and whatnot.. random stuff as per usual.

Next on my list is fixing up the blank buttons and blank banners. After that I have no idea what I’ll be fixing or creating but I’m sure I’ll get into something.

I’ve been meaning to blog for quite some time but life is hectic and there’s far too much on my mind to get anything worthwhile into a post.

Lots of stress and drama with a few good things thrown into the fray. My mind just isn’t in the blogging format these days. It basically consists of pushing the bad things to the back of my brain hoping they’ll magically rot into decaying nothingness. Forcing my mind on other topics that are more suited to happiness and relaxation which brings to mind a single topic but that’s a topic I’m not ready to divulge just yet.

But oh it is a wonderful topic and never ceases to bring a smile to my face and a sparkle to my eye.

I’m not abandoning my blog, I’m just waiting for my mind to collect itself in a manor that’s more blog-worthy. It’s bound to happen, I just can’t say when or how that will be.

I missed the look of the old-school comotized so I pulled out the original theme and brought it up to par and voila, here we are again with a blast from the past!

There are a few bugs I need to kick out the door, most of them lie within the archives page but I’ll get to them in due time. I’m just happy to have the theme back up and working.

I changed the theme a few days ago and everything is working fine but there’s a slight problem with the content pages, particularly the freebies and linkware pages.

Apparently the theme author thought it would be cute to float all content to the left which is fine if you’re just working with text but when images are involved things tend to get a little skewed.

So for now I’ve broken the freebies and linkware pages into.. well.. more pages. It’s the only way I can ‘fix’ the issue for now and even that isn’t solving everything as the addthis button is stuck to the sides of pages where the images aren’t big enough to take up the entire width space.

Annoying, but true and I have no idea how to fix it. I can design but I can’t code for shit, I make no bones about it and I’m not ashamed of it, it just isn’t my area. So you’ll have to deal with the quirkiness for now, at least all of the content is back in place.

Which brings me to announce there are some new things in the freebies and linkware sections. Lots of new wallpaper that most of you have never seen, a tenorikuma plurk theme, new vector illustrations, yzDock skins and a pack of background patterns.

I hope you enjoy them and sorry for the mess but I’m unwilling to switch themes at this point. I love the way this one is set up and I adore the fact that my social footprints are listed alongside my blog posts. It keeps everything nice, compact and up to date as let’s face it, I plurk and submit deviations more than I blog.
