Lucky Charms & Trix Cereals - Opposites with the same concept
Has anyone ever noticed that the commercials for Lucky Charms and Trix are direct opposites but have the exact same concept? I just noticed it when the leprechaun started bouncing across my television screen and was super surprised I'd never noticed before. Concept: The cereal is so good it must be taken by stealth, trickery and or force. Both commercials have that concept. The difference only appears in the cereal stealer when the kids try to steal the cereal in Lucky Charms commercials but always fail and the rabbit tries to steal the cereal in Trix commercials but always fails. Direct Opposites with the same concept. How did I not see it before?! Note to self: check post titles before publishing when you're running on zero hours of sleep.. ceral indeed.. pfft! *shakes fist*Comments
I never thought about it really. Interesting though. I’m like Bubs. I also feel very sorry for the poor Trix Rabbit. I mean, can’t they just let him have some freakin’ cereal?!
I’m from Canada… they must now show Trix ads here, because I’ve never seen one. Either than or I need to watch more TV
Lucky Charms ads are sooo repeditive. It’s like the comercial people ran out of ideas. But I love the leprechaun. ‘They’re always after me Lucky Charms!’
Ahaha. Yes.
